Why The Natural World Humbles Us
Friday Jun 28, 2019
Friday Jun 28, 2019
Almost all of us have been awestruck by an encounter with the natural world. We may have witnessed a magnificent sunset during a long drive, stood in front of a vast expanse of water before dipping our feet in, or reckoned with a mighty mountain during a hike.
Yet in today’s world, with the proliferation of technology and urbanization, we’ve lost sight of this. Our egos have been inflated during this ‘age of the individual’, where we can construct make-believe worlds through social media where we are the stars of the show.
Nature is instrumental in not only bringing us ‘down to Earth’, but motivating us to do more and be more. In this episode, you’ll learn how to gain inspiration from the natural world and use it to embrace your humanity and magnificence, and to enhance your life and perspective.

Tuesday Jun 25, 2019
Tuesday Jun 25, 2019
Most of us learn about the solar system and space in school, but once we step into adulthood, we retract into our own personal bubble and lose that ‘cosmic consciousness’ and inquisitiveness that we’re naturally born with.
I’m convinced that if we step out of the minutia of our daily existence and allow ourselves to soak in the cosmic magic, we’ll instantly elevate our state of mind and being. We’ll develop a cosmic consciousness that’ll give us a humble perspective of our place in the grand scheme of things.
In this podcast episode, I offer a couple of ways that we can connect with the stars, in addition to reasons why I believe that astronomy can change our view on life in a profound way.

All of us have a shadow-self - the unconscious side of your personality that contains all the parts of yourself that you don't want to admit to having like anger, greed, envy and many others. Over the past decade, shadow work has become a popular way to heal the repressed part of our being.
My guest today, Indra Singh, is well-versed in this modality and she uses unique tools such as flower essences and plant medicine in her practice. She's an intuitive guide for those that are ready to face their shadow, embrace their own wild inner guru and live an authentic life. She is the creator of the international flower elixir brand ‘Silent Moon Imaginarium’ and is on a mission to spread awareness of ‘The Power of the Flower’ and vibrational medicine to the masses.
During our conversation, Indra and I discuss how we can gain personal power by facing our shadow. She recommends healing practices, including the use of flower essences, that we can incorporate into our lives to create a state of balance, joy and peace.

According to various studies, 75% of people in the world do not consider themselves to be creative. Most of them are in professions that are outside of traditional creative fields such as artists, designers and performers.

How to be Grateful for Your Life without Getting Too Complacent
Friday Jun 07, 2019
Friday Jun 07, 2019
Gratitude has become a popular buzz word in the field of self-empowerment. Being grateful is now considered to be one of the most effective ways to create an abundant and joyful state of mind.
But could being too grateful possibly deflate our desire for progress? Can we delude ourselves into believing that our life is good enough because we have plenty to be grateful for?
The answer is yes - people can use gratitude to hide from the truth of their life and avoid making the changes that they know they need to make. That’s why the practice of gratitude is effective only if it’s complemented with self-awareness and honesty about our life situation.
The good news is that we can turn things around by maintaining a balance between being grateful and being pulled by our goals. In this episode, I describe five simple ways you can achieve this balance.

4 Lessons from the Most Benevolent Leaders of History
Friday May 31, 2019
Friday May 31, 2019
Since the dawn of time, people have been governed by leaders. Leaders typically possess a set of skills and personality traits that facilitate their ability to guide, make decisions, and direct their subordinates to accomplish common goals.
In theory, this is what is expected of a leader, but often the individuals who take up this role do not follow through. History has plenty of examples of incompetent and ruthless rulers who left their kingdoms in a state of disarray, chaos, and destruction.
Fortunately, some leaders chose differently. Their policies, centered on creating better conditions for their people, were influenced by enlightened ideas on leadership.
In this episode, we'll look at some of the most loved leaders in history and what we can learn from their benevolent leadership. By learning about these rulers, not only will you become a better leader in our own life but you'll improve your ability to elect competent leaders.

The 6 Types of Love: How to Experience it in Your Life
Tuesday May 28, 2019
Tuesday May 28, 2019
Whenever we think of the word “love” we usually associate it with the romantic kind.
But the truth is that love has many other manifestations. There is, in fact, a buffet of love with a delectable spread that we can feast on.
The ancient Greek philosophers, who were linguistic geniuses, were the only ones who were able to pick up on these distinctions in love. About 2500 years ago, within the enclaves of their stately forums, they created six words that captured the essence of the many shades of love that we can experience during our lifetime.
In this episode I describe the six types of love and their differences. As well a few tips on how we can open ourselves up to them.
