Let’s face it - most of us are guilty of being worriers at some point. We’ve all experienced the effects of an overactive mind - when our fears escalate to a point where they take on a life of their own. Our worrisome thoughts put a damper on everything, including all the positive things that happen to us.
Although constructive problem-solving is essential for us to function at peak performance, we should be able to recognize when our ruminating has become excessive and is stressing us out.
The good news is that, with awareness, we can break the cycle of obsessive thinking. The secret to doing this is knowing what does and doesn’t matter to us. In this episode, I offer three steps that can help you through this process which will increase the quality of your thinking (and your life).

Most of us grew up accustomed to conventional remedies that were prescribed to us by medical professionals and caretakers. We’re unaware that there’s a treasure trove of natural health remedies to heal common health symptoms based on an alternative field of medicine known as homeopathy.
To tell us more about it, I invited Elena Upton. Elena is a classically trained Homeopath, author and lecturer with nearly 30 years experience in the natural health field. After completing a doctorate program at the American University of Complimentary Medicine, she trained with many exceptional homeopaths and eventually founded her own clinic in Southern California.
During our conversation, we cover a range of topics from the benefits of alternative medicine to how homeopathy differs from conventional medicine. We also speak about the mind body connection and how we can use this knowledge to live a life of maximum vitality.

I’ve found that one of the best ways to get out of a mental rut is by immersing ourselves in new cultures. Experiencing a new culture is like entering a whole new world of sights, sounds, smells, and textures. We get exposed to new beliefs and perspectives.
Yet, if you grew up in an environment where you weren’t encouraged to intermingle with people who were different from you, or if you’re just too busy, you might find the idea of cultural immersion to be intimidating and out of reach.
In this podcast episode, I describe the meaning and origin of cultures and how interacting with other cultures benefits us and the world at large.

The rapid pace of modern life has caused people to be tired, overwhelmed and just so serious about everything in life. No doubt, we all face real-world challenges such as raising a family, and making a living, but if we take life too seriously, we might miss out on all the fun that life has to offer.
I believe that returning to a childlike state can prevent us from falling into this trap. Re-connecting with our “child-like” sensibilities will only will it add more joy to our lives, but empower us to dream big and take action on those dreams.
During this episode, I outline some guidelines on identifying fun activities that you would most resonate with. You’ll see how getting in touch with your inner child can help you let go of limiting beliefs and live your life from a place of authenticity and faith.

The ability to persuade people is, unquestionably, a trait that can take us straight to the top of any field. Whether it’s at work or your personal life, knowing your worth and showcasing yourself in a way that appeals to others, is essential to ‘selling yourself’.
Yet, this isn’t easy to accomplish as most people have developed a natural resistance to persuasion and dismiss anything that seems “salesy’. A pushy and loud persuasive approach just won’t work anymore.
In this episode, I'll describe how you can adopt a progressive way of influencing others that creates win-win situations. You’ll see that when you’re honest and real in your approach to influence, the right people will gravitate towards you and support your mission.

Today, it’s almost impossible for us to avoid interacting with others outside our native groups, especially Unless you live in a remote location on the planet, you will encounter diversity in your workplace, the grocery stores, conferences, schools, colleges and entertainment venues.
Unfortunately, there have been many recent events that show that the intolerance of diversity still exists within the fabric of our global consciousness and it’s being brought to the surface for us to witness and heal.
In this episode, I explain why old and outdated paradigms that support homogeneous and hierarchical systems, need to be eradicated and the steps that we can take to embrace and celebrate diversity. In this way, we’ll learn how to co-operate with those who we perceive to be different from us.
