Why Complaining Blocks Your Abundance
Friday Sep 07, 2018
Friday Sep 07, 2018
Complaining – we all tend to do it at some point in our day right?
Like scratching an itch, complaining feels good in the moment. We experience relief when we release pent-up energy. We find complaining so much easier than taking responsibility. We avoid having difficult conversations and taking positive steps toward change.
It’s important to be aware that complaining only gives us a false sense of entitlement and power when, in fact, it’s detrimental to our physical, as well as our mental well-being.
In this podcast episode, I describe the many ways that complaining blocks abundance from flowing into our life and how we can prevent this from happening by taking responsibility and becoming more conscious.

How Your Archetypes are the Key to Self-Knowledge
Tuesday Sep 04, 2018
Tuesday Sep 04, 2018
The concept of archetypes has been prevalent since the dawn of time. It’s been a recurrent motif or symbol in art, religions, mythology, fairy tales and literature. Today we encounter them in novels, movies, stage shows or tarot cards. The common ones include the hero, the villain, the side-kick, the damsel in distress, the trickster, the sage, and so on.
Even though archetypes are everywhere, not everyone knows that by uncovering their archetypes and actively working with them, they can attain greater self-awareness and activate personal and spiritual growth.
In this podcast episode I’ll describe some of the ways by which you can get to know your archetypal patterns and use this knowledge to live your life in a meaningful way and make the best use of your personal power.

4 Reasons Why Stereotypes are Harmful and Destructive
Friday Aug 31, 2018
Friday Aug 31, 2018
Have you ever been stereotyped in the past or do you have a tendency to stereotype others?
Stereotypes are similar to prejudices in that they’re based on prior assumptions and the history of a particular social group or individual type. But oversimplifying an individual or group’s identity can lead to premature judgments and unjust cruel behaviors like hate crimes and discrimination in the workplace.
When we reduce someone to a ‘type’ and objectify them, we dishonor them by refusing to embrace their humanness. In this episode, I discuss the reasons why we stereotype and how we can let go of our presuppositions, and instead, take in the magnificence that’s present in another person.

But when it becomes a regular pattern that affects your overall productivity, that’s when you know that you’re in trouble.
Laziness can have a detrimental effect on our life. This is especially true if you’re someone with ambition, who wants to ‘go places’ in life. Breaking the cycle of laziness requires a lot more than half hearted-promises or reading lists of productivity hacks.
In this episode, I explain how laziness is a result of a complex web of psychological issues and a lack of planning skills and what steps you can take to overcome these issues by finding inspiration and maximizing your efficiency.
