[Podcast Interview] Each and every one of us would love to live life to the fullest where we’re able to fully utilize our gifts and deal with any challenges that may come our way. But living up to our potential may sound trite to many of us having heard it so many times. We’ve actually forgotten what it means and what it entails.
To remind us of what living up to our potential really means and how we can apply this potentially complex issue in our lives, I invited Darcy Skye Holoweski. Darcy is a certified energy medicine practitioner, Reiki master and a certified career coach with a Masters degree in education. Darcy combines her intuitive ability with coaching tools to support individuals to come to a deeper understanding of themselves through inner work and taking outer action.
During this interview, Darcy, with her effervescent and bubbly energy, shares her thoughts and offers us some tools to discover and cultivate our strengths while doing it from a centered place of self-awareness and inner balance. I hope that you’ll enjoy it!

[Podcast Interview] All of us have felt stuck at some point in our life – you could have felt trapped by certain beliefs, behaviors, circumstances or people.
It’s during those critical junctures in our life that we need to create a shift so that we can head in a more positive direction. But how do we do it? It sounds simple in theory but we do need guidance and the tools to make those critical shifts.
To help me shed some light on this issue, I invited Marylou Falstreau, an artist and creator of the “Women and the Hourglass” series of inspirational art for women. Her artwork is influenced by her belief that we have the ability to do the same by developing our awareness and to wake up to our power and potential. Life is essentially an “inside” job.
You’ll love my heartwarming conversation with Marylou where we discuss her work and how we can glean inspiration from her personal philosophy. More specifically, how we can change the flow of time and start anew by developing our awareness and choosing a different direction, thought or perspective.

I’ve always been fascinated with the beauty and diversity that exists on our gorgeous planet. There are all kinds of amazing animal and plant species out there in so many different shapes, colors and sizes.
Today I’m going to be speaking with someone who’s been heavily involved in the research and exploration of the biodiversity on our planet for most of his life – George Paul. George developed an intense interest in the natural world when he was a teenager. He has travelled the globe recording bird songs; filming the life of coral reef ecosystems; and writing and lecturing about the importance of preserving Earth’s biological diversity.
During my interview, George shared his thoughts on how societal attitudes should evolve so as to create a sustainable society for the Third Millennium and what each one of us can do to preserve and stay connected to nature.
If you’re someone who cares about our planet and you’re curious about how you can be part of the solution to the current issues that we face as a species, then you’ll enjoy listening to our discussion.

5 Valuable Lessons That We Learn From Pain
Thursday Feb 01, 2018
Thursday Feb 01, 2018
Do you feel uncomfortable when thinking about painful times in your life? Have you always viewed challenges as nothing but hindrances? Do you want to live a pain-free existence?
Pain is a universal experience. No creature on the planet is exempt from feeling it. It’s a biological mechanism that maintains balance in our system but many of us don’t see pain this way. Instead, we see it as an inconvenience and some kind of defect that needs to be fixed or cured.
When we avoid pain, we miss the deeper and enriching experience that on offer. Just as light cannot exist without the dark, the human experience is not complete without moments of sadness. Even though pain is unavoidable it is a great teacher and the impetus for our evolution in consciousness.
All we need to do is to transform our relationship with pain and keep our minds and hearts open to reap the wisdom from every painful experience that we endure. In this week’s post, I provide some insights on how we can cope with pain based on spiritual scriptures and expertise of exemplars. I also list down the top five lessons that we can glean from pain if we keep our hearts and mind open.

[Interview] How to Create Magic in Your Life (feat. Mark Williams)

[Podcast Interview] Do you sometimes wish that you could recapture that childlike sense of wonder that you had as a kid? Would you like to view the world as place filled with magic, splendor and beauty?
As most of us grow up, we no longer allow ourselves to experience the wonders and mysteries of life. What I love about the art of magic is that it has the power to elicit that child-like sense of wonder within us no matter how old we are.
I’ve been a big fan of magic since I was little and I’ve been fortunate enough to watch live shows of some of the biggest illusionists out there such as David Copperfield, David Blaine, Penn & Teller, Criss Angel, to name a few.
So I thought who better to talk to about finding magic than someone who actually lives and breathes it. That’s why I decided to invite, Mark Williams who is a semi-Professional magician who has been performing magic for over 45 years, for a chat on my podcast.
I had the opportunity to speak with Mark to get deeper insights into his professional journey as a magician and his thoughts on some deeper life themes as it relates to magic.
I hope that you’ll enjoy listening to this magical podcast interview as much as I enjoyed participating in the conversation.
